Kobba Musa was born on 27^th April, 1973 in Kandor Village ,Bongor Cheifdom , Bo District, he is the current Mayor of Bo City after the 2023 local council election in Sierra Leone , before becoming a mayor some of his contribution to development intervention  in Bo District can be traced with organization such as the latter –Day Saint ,Grassroots community empowerment  ( GRACE ) Community empowerment and development Agency  ( CEDA)  Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources and National Civil Registration Authority all in the southern region .

Mayor Kobba Musa is strongly known for his consistent dedication to major life courses, an attribute which paved his way to the mayoral candidacy for the Sierra Leone People’s party in Bo District. Since he became the Mayor of Bo City, he has sustained the city development aspiration and ensure that the core of his manifesto articulate in both the current and long term vision of Bo city, on that is specific, measure, achievable, and above all very relevant with time-bound, one that reflect the needs and priorities of his resident and potentially informed by survey and public input, ensuring no one is left behind.

Improve on strategies for job creation and workforce development by 30 % ,with specific reference to youths and women support program ,Engaging with employer networks 30% : to increase and enhance funding and capacity  building support: Gbotma bus services / the Provision of water facilities , the provision of clean energy system to the Bo City Administrative complex ,Increase collaboration and partners for support to vibrant and sustainable initiatives 50%  -Improve on city infrastructure ( Face lift  the current administrative building /Sustained the current clock tower/Rehabilitate   the old city council hall /  Rehabilitate Bongo Market /RC School and Methodist / rehabilitation of culvert  to improve connectivity ,Plans for the new transit site with wholes sale market infrastructure to be named after His Excellency, Bio Square, to address traffic congestion within the central business district  ( inner core) , sustainable transport system, enhance city planning and  beautification  100% and the rehabilitation and expansion of the current Bo central market. Focusing on the provision of tools equipment for waste management and sustained environmental sanitation 30%, Consideration of proactive strategic planning, to coordinate climate change and disaster management, management of   tree planting, flood mitigation and water scarcity within our communities by 30%
